Born in the late 80’s in the city of the lights, 8HTYS mobs her way into the Las Vegas HIP HOP scene winning numerous of cash prizes venues setting the tone. She’s known to grab hold of your ears with her energetic smooth rhymes. Being raised on the west coast, with a mother from the East coast, developed the appetite for the versatility of sounds chosen for her listening pleasure. 

With idols such as Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Twista, Jay Z, Da Brat, Bone thugs and harmony, just to name a few. 

While on the ease your mind end artist such as Erykah Badu, Luther Vandross, Teena Marie, Tweet added to her  smooth taste more provided her a smooth liking.

With today’s music 8HTYS grew love for artist such as Dave East, NBA young boy, Kodak Luh Tyler and more. 

With words of encouragement from a young man she helped to raise as an adolescent, and the motivation and support of her life partner with the gesture of purchasing a vocal recorder to help spark the flame. 

8HTYS produces an energy that gravitates the hearts of others. While having ties in the Las Vegas community it allows her to scout fellow up and coming indie artist and provide them with opportunities to be heard and seen. Which is one way she gives back to the community. and with plans of starting a label in the near future .
